Everything ready for the fair

From September 18 and until Friday 21 the Feria Hábitat is taking place in the city of Valencia in Spain.

After the success of the last edition, Habitat returns to bring together 415 signatures and exhibiting brands in more than 45,000 square meters with the best new collections from the greatest firms in our country and a selected group of firms from Italy, France , Portugal, Germany, Mexico, Poland or Romania. All this in a unique space like the Feria Valencia where you can attend the hundred conferences, exhibitions, talks and discussions about design, interior design and contract that will be held throughout the week in the framework of the Fair. The fair will be visited by the best professionals of the habitat of our country as well as by foreign buyers from more than 45 countries in search of innovation and quality of furniture, lighting and decoration 'made in Spain'.



Nude is an experimental area that is part of Feria Hábitat Valencia and, takes place every year within the fair.

MAY ARRATIA creations will be presented among twelve proposals of designers and design studios that will participate together with the nine design schools and universities in what has been configured as the main showcase and creative hotspot of the most innovative design at the fair. All of them will exhibit more than a hundred projects and creative ideas in an integrated event within the global showcase of Feria Hábitat Valencia and that next week will celebrate its sixteenth edition.

For the selection of the participants of this year, the nude Hall has had a jury of experts with the participation of the Dean of the College of Interior Designers of the Comunitat Valenciana, Pepe Cosín; the designer of Stone Designs Eva Prego; the delegate in Spain of the renowned Italian magazine Domus, Pilar Tendero; and Actiu's CMO, Jesús Moreno. In addition, on the part of Feria Valencia, Ana Segovia has also participated, representing Odos Design (art direction of Feria Hábitat Valencia) and María Fontes (responsible for Nude Salon).

In total, eleven designers and design studios were selected from the Valencian Community, Community of Madrid, Catalonia, La Rioja, Galicia, Euskadi and Mexico and whose names are: Aggaro, Alberto Vera, Estudio Dalangi, Eugenia Bosca, Jaume Molina, Konkrit Blu Architecture, May Arratia Studio, Octavio Asensio, Tabuhome and Versus Ecodesign Studio. Mexican design student Germán Muñoz Carvajal will also participate with them.

In addition, Nude 2018 will again accommodate a large group of universities and design schools that increasingly choose nude and Feria Hábitat Valencia as a first-class showcase where to show the lines of work, research and innovation that take place in their respective teaching areas.

In this section they will participate this year: Barreira Art and Design (Valencia), School of Art and Superior of Ceramics of Manises (Valencia), School of Art and Superior of Design of Valencia, School of Design of Anahuac (Mexico), Tecnun - University of Navarre, Cardenal Herrera University - CEU San Pablo Valencia, Jaume I University Castellón, Polytechnic University of Valencia - ETSID and Polytechnic University of Valencia Alcoi Campus.

We must also remember that the Nude Hall is not only a commercial platform or product showcase but is complemented by a powerful series of conferences, work days and talks on design and new avant-garde trends. All of them are structured around the so-called Agora nude ', true creative lung of Feria Hábitat Valencia and which is shaping its program and agenda of activities.
